Have your dorm or apartment items stored by deliverbees while you study abroad! Your belongings will be picked up from your dorm or apartment, stored in a climate controlled facility for 8 months (pick-ups in December 2025), and re-delivered to your on or off campus housing in the fall (redelivery in August 2026).

FAQs

How do I reserve a Semester Abroad storage space?

If you (or your student) attend Clemson or Furman, click on the sign up button above to reserve a space for December 2025 pick up. You will pay a $50 deposit to reserve your space. Space is limited, so sign up soon!

Is the $50 deposit refundable?

The $50 deposit is refundable prior to November 1st, 2025. After November 1st, 2025 the deposit is non-refundable but will be applied to your summer storage service invoice.

Do you provide packing supplies?

Yes! Each student will have the opportunity to pick up a complimentary packing kit on campus consisting of 5 boxes (22" x 18" x 18" large boxes), 1 roll of packing tape and labels. Additional kits are available for purchase at $35 each. You may also use your own boxes, suitcases or other containers if you prefer or need more.

Can you pack my room for me?

We do not pack your items for you. Please have all items inside a box or tote prior to our arrival on pick up day. Each box and each item that does not fit inside a box is a separate item for the purposes of pricing. If we arrive and items are not already packed, you will need to reschedule to one of our available time slots and there will be up a $150 rescheduling fee.

What if I run out of packing supplies?

If you run out of our packing supplies, you can purchase your own boxes and tape to use. Or pack in storage bins, bags and laundry baskets you already have in your dorm room.

Do I need to be there when the boxes are picked up?

Yes, the student does need to be present to allow us access to your dorm room and to ensure we are taking only the items you want stored. Parents do not need to be present, saving time and travel expenses. If for some reason the student is unable to be there during your scheduled delivery time, a designated representative needs to be there to allow us access to your room and to sign for you. This would require a signed waiver ahead of time and we will check the ID of the alternate contact. If we arrive and no one is there to meet us, you will need to contact us to reschedule pick up and a $150 rescheduling fee will be added to your final invoice.

Where will my items be stored?

All items are stored in a local climate controlled, secure storage facility near campus.

Are there any items you won't store?

We will store just about anything under 100 lbs. with a few exceptions. We will not store firearms, hazardous or illegal materials, liquid Items, items containing gasoline, food or other perishables. We cannot store cash, jewelry and collectables. We will not store mirrors, TVs, or other fragile items outside of their original boxes unless they are securely wrapped as they may become damaged or broken in storage or delivery.

How much will this service cost?

Cost depends on how many items you store. Pricing is based per item for 8 months of storage and cannot be prorated. A 10% discount will be applied to the final invoice for long term storage (8 or more months).

What dates do you pick up & deliver at Clemson & Furman for Semester Abroad?

Pick ups will be in December on the dates listed on the calendar above. Redelivery dates will be posted closer to move-in but will align with the school's on campus move-in dates.

When do you bill me for storing my items?

After we pick up items for storage, we will send an inventory of boxes and other items we are storing for you within 30-days. Payment must be received within 15 days of receiving the invoice and prior to scheduling a delivery date. Please note: redeliveries will not be scheduled until the account is paid in full.

What if I live off campus?

No problem! We can pick up and deliver within 5 miles of campus.

Are there any other fees?

There are no hidden or extra fees for our Summer Storage service, unless unusual circumstances arise, such as the following:

Rescheduling fee: One Hundred Dollars ($100) if You reschedule your pick up or delivery within Seventy Two (72) hours of what You originally scheduled or fail to be available for a scheduled pick up (You will need to reschedule from available time slots), Rescheduling after failed delivery attempt when items are already on the delivery truck: One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150) (You will need to reschedule from available time slots), Distance Delivery Fee: for pick up or delivery beyond Five (5) miles from campus will incur a Ten Dollar ($10) per mile distance pick up/delivery fee for a maximum distance of Ten (10) miles from campus, Discard Item Fee: Thirty Dollar ($30) per item You would like for Us to discard, Shipping Cost: if student does not return to school in the fall and boxes need to be shipped instead of local delivery, there will be a handling fee of Thirty Dollar ($30) per item in addition to UPS shipping and packing costs (if not in a box). Other fees not listed may apply for oversized items, delays caused by Customer, etc. We do not move or store items weighing 100 lbs. or more.
